Volunteer: Pitch In at Hermann Park - Cleanup In Heart of the Park on 5/27

Pitch In at Hermann Park

Give the Park you love a little extra care - and help us get ready for the world! Join us for Pitch in at Hermann Park, a hands-on volunteer day where community members of all ages come together to help care for Houston's most cherished green spaces.

As Houston prepares to welcome visitors from across the globe, Hermann Park will be a part of the FIFA World Cup Green Corridor, and we're working now to make sure the Park looks its very best. Your helping hands will directly support that effort.

You'll work alongside Conservancy staff on simple but meaningful projects like mulching, planting, and litter cleanup — the kind of small efforts that make a big impact for visitors, wildlife, and the health of the Park.

No experience is needed — just comfortable clothes, closed-toe shoes, and a willingness to help. We’ll provide the tools, guidance, and a great way to spend your morning outdoors while meeting new people and giving back to the community.

Whether you come with friends, family, coworkers, or on your own, your time truly matters here.

Come outside. Get your hands a little dirty. Help us welcome the world to Hermann Park.

Weather:   Volunteer projects are rain or shine, unless there is severe weather. Cancellations due to severe weather will be sent via text/email at least 1 hour before your shift. Use your best judgment when traveling in inclement weather.

Volunteer: Pitch In at Hermann Park - Cleanup In Heart of the Park

Where to meet?  6104 Hermann Park Drive, Houston Texas 77030 (Meet at the Pedal Boat Kiosk) Enter through Lot G (near the Zoo) or Lot E and park in Lot F.  Walk up the concrete sidewalk to the Pedal Boat Kiosk, and we will be watching for your group.
